Our Fall Fireplace and Mantle

Welcome to a fun fall festival featuring a different theme of fall decor and recipes daily!

I am SO excited to be kicking off October with an amazing blog hop! Last year’s Fall Festival was SUCH a hit and I couldn’t wait to organize it again!

This week I am joining 24 of my blogging friends for a whole week of fall inspiration!  We’ll be sharing our mantles, tablescapes  (just in time for Canadian Thanksgiving next Monday!), recipes, vignettes and front porches!

Ever since my husband redid our (outdated and very hideous fireplace) I love decorating it for each season! The white makes for the perfect backdrop and I just add a few of my favorite pieces!

I’m usually drawn to neutral decor but every now and then pops of color show up.  This time however, I stuck with soft neutrals and I am loving it.

Decorating a mantle shouldn’t be hard. It’s all about adding an assortment of different textures, heights and elements of your favorite pieces. I started with a super easy burlap banner I made a while ago and then added my favorite tobacco basket for height. I always seem to add candlesticks to any vignette or mantle and this time was no different. I discovered these flameless candles a while back and love the coziness they add!

The little Hello Fall is from Hobby Lobby and I wish I would’ve picked up another one! Isn’t it cute!?

I love that our home is filled with so many DIYs that my sweet husband did for us. From the fireplace to the coffee table to the ladder you see in the corner, all these pieces mean so much more to me because so much love was poured into each one!

Thank you SO very much for stopping by, friends! I always read every single comment and they mean so much to me! Be sure to follow me on Instagram for even more updates around our home!

And next up on our tour is my friend Cindy from County Road 407! I know you’ll love her as much as I do!

Be sure to check out the rest of my friends’ mantles today and come back each to see the different themes!

Kendra your fireplace is so pretty! I love your soft neutral colors. That little fall sign is so cute! I haven’t seen it at Hobby Lobby, I am going to go check tomorrow!
I also love your candlesticks and banner.

Thank you so for organizing this hop and including me. Happy fall!

    Hey Kendra!

I love your neutral fireplace area and how you decorated it for fall keeping with the neutral theme. I love the white mantle and trim all around the gray tile and that it’s set between two windows – it makes a wonderful focal point of the room. The way you decorated it for fall is gorgeous – the little Hello Fall sign is adorbs, and I especially love the “K”! 🙂 Thanks so much for inviting me to be part of this hop!
