Welcome back to Week 4 of the One Room Challenge!
Hard to believe there’s only 2 weeks left! It’s crunchtime! But as I’ve proven over and over again, I work fabulously when I’m facing a deadline … (just ask my husband.) Next week will be all about painting…
Please forgive me for the terrible quality of this picture! I promise the final reveal ones will be much better! The lockers have only one application of undercoat so far and are ready to be painted next week I love the cast iron hooks my husband installed. They are super sturdy and will be able to hold heavy backpacks, coats, umbrellas and more! We bought the hardware at Home Depot and I have to tell you a little secret…
It was much cheaper buying the hooks already mounted on a piece of wood than it was to buy them separately. Check out this link here. These are not the exact ones we bought but it saved us quite a bit buying them this way! Yay for a deal!!
I was browsing Pinterest for some pretty printables for the laundry room and found these that I love!
Aniko from Place Of My Taste recently did a laundry room update and I love how hers turned out and it’s been an inspiration for me in this ORC! This printable can be found in her laundry room so please skip on over and check it out!
I love this beautiful one too, by A Pop Of Pretty! It is available in many different colors which is perfect for any style! I’m loving the red in the above one because of our washer and dryer being red.
That’s it for this week! Next week should bring some very noticeable changes! I can’t wait to be doing laundry in an organized and pretty laundry room soon!
In case you missed the previous weeks, you can check out Week 1, Week 2 and Week 3 ! And check out the other participants in the challenge at Calling it Home!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!

I am SO jealous!!! I’ve always wanted a mud room with lockers like these!!! I cannot wait to see it all put together!
We were so lucky the laundry room had this space which was perfect for the lockers! I’m looking forward to week 6 too!! 🙂 Have a fabulous weekend, Kristi!
Too funny. I’ve done the same thing of buying the hooks on the boards and then throwing the board away. Did you get the ones on the red “cherry” wood? I have to say I’m not a fan of that finish.
If it saves money, I’m all for it, Julia 🙂 The finish on our wood was more like an espresso… it’s just in the garage waiting for a project one day! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
The lockers are looking great and I LOVE those printables! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
Thanks so much Erica 🙂 Hope you have a great weekend!
I love your lockers!! We have some really similar to these in our mudroom from Pottery Barn and I know we paid an arm and a leg more than yours! I wish I would have tried making them. Love the printables you found too! Can’t wait to see the final reveal!!!
Oh I bet yours are beautiful Amy! Love PB!! I am so excited to be almost done 🙂 Thanks for following along, friend!

I would love something so pretty. We have some old metal school lockers in the garage for outdoor toys and I have some plans for our entry but nothing this nice. Doing a great job.
Thanks AmieJo! I love metal lockers and storing toys in them would be perfect! Good luck on your entry way and thanks so much for stopping by!
