Happiest Thursday to y’all!
If only you all knew how excited I am to share this post with you!
Back on April 2nd , I decided to jump onboard and tackle my 3rd ORC! I had made up my mind (or so I thought!) that I was going to skip this time around, but my husband convinced me and now I’m so glad I did! It.Is.DONE!!!
Here’s the recap if you wish to look back and see how far we’ve come:
Week 1: A Bathroom Makeover and A Plan
Week 2The Easiest & Quickest Way To Remove Linoleum
Week 3: Halfway Point of Our Makeover
Week 4: Paint Changes Everything
Week 5: Progress & Panic
I’ll just share the reveal pictures with you today, friends and post my sources for you next week in a separate post. That way I can just focus on the prettiness of this room without all the little extra details!
I absolutely looove how it turned out! We started out with a very dark slate and I just love this bright and white space now!
I find myself walking past this bathroom and just pause and take a peek in there! This room receives lots of natural light with a window in it so it just adds to the brightness of this space!
My original plan was to make this bathroom a “white & bright” space! I did end up adding it a little bit of color…I think it’s the perfect amount. And plants always add a natural element which I love! These little succulent is perfect for this shelf!
Every bathroom needs some pretties too! Candles are one of my favorite items to decorate with!
When I stumbled across this easel sign I knew it would be perfect for this bathroom. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it before, but this is our kids’ bathroom and this sign is such a cute way of telling them that we love them more than ____________. There’s some interesting stuff that’s been written on it! Everything from Minecraft to chocolate chip cookies!
I couldn’t have done this makeover without my husband! I think he rocked these floating shelves! ! I sometimes feel sorry for him because I get this vision in my head for something and I can think waaaaay faster than I can talk so usually I’ll start rambling and I know that often he doesn’t have a clue what I want! lol! I love that patient and sweet husband of mine who puts up with me and my ideas! I hope to share the easy tutorial soon!
This towel rack is another DIY project…
Since we got rid of our handy and verrrrry practical medicine chest, I had to find some storage for their toiletries. I didn’t want to keep their toothbrushes on the counter and this wall storage serves double duty… towel rack and toothbrush storage!
It is always soo fun to look back and see how far you’ve come! Paint can make such a huge difference…. it is exactly the look we were aiming for!
I would like to say a huge thank you to Linda from Calling It Home for once again hosting this fun challenge! I know this room wouldn’t have gotten started (or done!) without these Thursday deadlines! Thank you to each one of you who has followed this 6 week journey with me… your encouraging comments were exactly what I needed and kept me going! I have said it before, but this blog wouldn’t be nearly as fun without you all!
Wishing you all a wonderful day…. and don’t forget to head over to see all the other amazing room reveals!!

Thank you Lauren! I appreciate your sweet comments! xo
I love it Kendra! Especially the little chalkboard with messages for your kids. Such a sweet gesture to show them that you care and are interested in the things they do. I too tend to spout out ideas to my husband at crazy fast speeds, and when I’m done I see his face is full of confusion. Poor guy! Great job on your space! Y’all enjoy it!
Thank you, friend! They love that chalkboard soo much…. and it’s fun to keep updating it 🙂 Glad I’m not the only one who spits out ideas at crazy fast speeds 😉 Hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend, Iris!
Super super cute!!!! Love what you did!!!!

So many things to love about this bathroom! I really like the shower curtain and the clean look to this room. Also, that chalkboard sign is too funny 🙂 I also really like how you’ve stored all your toothpaste/toothbrushes within easy reach!
Thanks Carrie! Always appreciate your sweet comments! Hope you have a great rest of the week! xo
Great job! Love the toothbrush holder/towel hook. I’m always trying to figure that out. I’m not a lover of toothbrushes and toothpaste sprawled out on the counter. Genius idea!
Thank you Erin! And for following along on this crazy busy challenge! Hope you have a great rest of the week and find some time to relax now 🙂
Wow! What a difference! I love the neutral background with the pops of aqua!
Thank you SO much Wendy! I appreciate it 🙂
Kendra – you have knocked this makeover outta the park! Congratulations on such a fabulous job! Your new space is so pretty and bright – we could never guess that it was the same room! Well done!!
Thanks ladies! You sure know how to make a girl feel special! Hope you both have a great rest of the week! xo
Holy COW!! Kendra, this is so gorgeous. I can;t even believe it’s the same space!! Did you get a new countertop, too? I love how light and bright it is!! It’s the same kind of look I’m thinking of for my guest bath, too. Which, I still haven’t started…. Ha! Good thing I didn’t do the ORC then! 🙂
Thanks so much, sweet friend! Yes, the counter top is changed, too! We will have to do the fall ORC together! Thanks for your sweet comments… always make my day!
Kendra, your bathroom looks so calm and serene, much like a spa. I also made over a bathroom for my 2 young children :-).
So glad you like it, Delia! You did an awesome job as well! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
Such a beautiful transformation! I love your choice of colors…very calming. I showed my husband what you did with the toothbrushes and he liked it. I always thought it unsanitary to leave toothbrushes out while washing hands. I just redid my kids bathroom, and now you have me thinking about that 🙂 Great job.
Thank you Delia! So glad you like it! Yay for both of us for redoing our bathrooms 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you, Amy! I think that toothbrush holder is the most popular part of the makeover! I appreciate your sweet comments… thanks for following along, friend!
It’s fabulous Kendra! I believe you when you say you stop and look in on your way by!!! I would do the same! 🙂 That shower curtain is GORGEOUS!!! Please share where you got it..(I hope you didn’t sew it yourself!). Enjoy your new space!

Kendra, I love this white and bright bathroom with a pop of color! I am so glad your husband encouraged you to participated again in ORC because you’re so talented and I always enjoy seeing what you design! Thank you for being one of my biggest cheerleaders through ORC! Like you I almost sat out this round, it’s always the busiest time. It’s great that your husband also help you! The floating shelves, new coat of paint, new hardware, and the fun towel hooks make a big impact in this small room! It’s been so much fun seeing the process and doing another ORC with you my friend!
