Hello friends! Well, it’s week 5 of the ORC and we have one week to go!! Five weeks ago I shared with you current pictures of our bathroom and my plan to redo it. We’ve come a long way, friends… but I feel like this next week will be the busiest yet!
Our best buy everrrrrr, was this steal of a deal light fixture. I normally go for darker light fixtures but I wanted something lighter to match the sink taps and cupboard pulls. Can you imagine my surprise when we found this light marked down to $19 at Home Depot!?

Last week my husband tiled the floor, but he hadn’t grouted it. Now that messy job is done too! You can’t really tell from this picture, but the grout dries a lot lighter.
It’s not perfectly cleaned here but this is what it looks like! I’m excited to put on the white baseboards now and see how sharp they’ll look against the dark tile!
Remember our countertop dilemma last week? Well, I happened to call a local Kitchen design place and I still cannot believe my luck!!! They were $10 a lineage foot cheaper than the place last week, PLUS they cut them for you AND finish the ends. When I told my husband, he said, “of course, honey, they finish the ends for you, but you’ll pay extra for that.” Before placing our order, I clarified it and the finishing and cutting were all INCLUDED in the price of the countertop. I feel like I got an early Christmas present with that kinda deal! Ha! Here’s a sneak peak of them…. the color is Jamocha.
If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this picture I posted a couple nights ago… one more small thing that I’ve left till the end. I’m hoping to finish a towel rack tomorrow and will show you next week in my final reveal!
So wish me luck people… I just might need it! Especially if the weather’s going to be as nice as it’s been all week– might be a little hard to stay indoors! Nevertheless, I’ll be here again next Wednesday night for my final reveal!

It’s looking great! I love all the colors and fixtures you have picked. I redid our bathroom several years ago, and I know some people hate picking things out, like tile and fixtures, but I loved it! Can’t wait to see the finished product!

We love Home Depot too! We are finishing the laundry room for my mother-in-law and picked up a box of ceiling tiles for only $5! Love that light fixture!
