Mini Banana Splits

I thought I’d start the week of right….  by sharing a yummy treat! Hope y’all had a super weekend! Our little man’s birthday is coming up this week so I was busy planning his party! I really enjoy planning our children’s birthday parties; from food to decorations to dΓ©cor. And I just might be serving these little treats to at his party too… with different coloured sprinkles of course!

Here’s what you’ll need:

– bananas (firm)

– icecream

– whipped cream

– melted chocolate

– sprinkles

– cherries

Depending on the size of your bananas, cut them into thirds or quarters. Leave the peel on. Using the small end of a melon scoop, scoop out a tiny bit of the banana. Set aside or eat as your making these πŸ™‚ Next, remove the peel from the banana. Dip one end of the banana into the melted chocolate and then dip into sprinkles. I set mine on a plate lined with wax paper and popped them into the freezer for 3 minutes. Once they hardened, I scooped some vanilla icecream into the cavity of the banana and topped it with whipped cream. Add and cherry on top and you have a super cute, bite-sized banana split!

Our kids thought these were the neatest little treats!! Perfect for after school or anytime snacking!

Hope you all have a wonderful week! Don’t forget to come back on Wednesday for our monthly challenge! A group of my blogging friends and I are sharing our “Plumbing Pieces” projects! Also, I’d love for you to follow along with me on Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook!

These have to be one of the cutest things ever. I love how there is more fruit than just all that sugar in the ice cream of a traditional banana split. I would love to have you share them with all of us at Motivational Monday Link Party. I know they will enjoy them as well.

Thanks so much Lindi! Have you checked out our son’s camping themed party from last year? It’s one of my favorites ever! Would love to share his party this week; will see how this week goes! So glad you stopped by!

I just found your blog this morning. I have two step granddaughters, one with some cavity issues so Grandma (me) likes to find something different to feed them when they are over-nighting with me. These cuties look the ticket. Thanks so much.

Oh my gosh these are just about the cutest snacks I’ve ever seen. I don’t know why but I instantly thought they’d be perfect for a baby shower. So clever! (and I love that its got some healthy elements mixed in there!)
Thanks so much for stopping & sharing at my Tuesday link up! I hope you’ll come back next week for some more sharing/blog stalking [in a good way].
